300 Orphans children and widows received Eid gifts

Paani USA has distributed Eid gifts, which include clothes and food items among 500 orphan children and widows belonging to different villages of Jamshoro, Dadu and Khairpur districts of Sindh province of Pakistan under the Orphan Sponsorship Program.

Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) is implementing the project in these districts of Sindh Province. The distribution was held in three places like Sehwan Sharif, Jamshoro, Johi in Dadu district and Noor Bozdar of Khairpur districts.

The process of distribution was followed strictly with SOPs. The beneficiaries were brought to the venues with their supporters to receive the gifts.

The children have different stories filed with miseries and their backgrounds. FRDP team has identified these deserving children for this help so they may celebrate the Eid like other children.

Though the provincial Sindh government has announced one week long leaves with restrictions, FRDP sought help by the district administrations to distribute the Eid gifts among the needy children.

These three districts are located on both the sides of the River Indus. Despite being homes to tourism-important sites in these districts, poverty is a common problem, due to many reasons mainly because of depletion of riverine forests and increasing salinity in the areas. You may see the wide portion of barren lands without cultivation.

FRDP has already distributed 600 Paani Ramadan food packs among 600 poor women of Hyderabad district, mainly hailing from katchi abadies in the city.
